Hello! By dint of industry protocol, I have generally eschewed the first person throughout this website’s pages. A section devoted to my researches, opinions and experiences, however, demands a personal voice. As an appreciative nod to the lighter, miscellaneous literature of the 19th century, I have opted for the label belles-lettres. I hope this will allow maximum flexibility in documenting my activities as a performer, writer, reader, listener, teacher, and any other persona I may assume in the coming years.
